Half Stop Down Ltd, is a film production company of Bangladesh working with a strong commitment to global cinema. The company thrives on the art of storytelling using powerful visuals and rich cinematic language. One of the most talented and renowned advertisement film-maker of Bangladesh, Amitabh Reza is the mastermind behind this admirable venture. The advertisements he has made under the Half Stop Down label have garnered accolades from critics and audiences alike. These successes have helped Half Stop Down to earn a favorable reputation among its business clients as well. More than thousands of Television Advertisement made this production House. Several National and International award received by this production house. 

Line producer Director (January 2005 – January 2007)

I was the first line producer director in Bangladesh. As a line producer my responsibilities are:  develop, write, produce and give direction to film and video projects including marketing and air promotion, Handle the tasks to develop screenplay and updates the same to the lead producer for approval, Responsible to authorize and supervise the packaging activities of the film, Perform responsibilities to fund for the film as well as provide support with pre-sales activities, Handle the tasks to secure distribution agreements and supervise the activities of production for the financiers, Responsible to co-coordinate the film’s production from initial financing to the final distribution

Achievements and Awards:

Mr. Assaduzzaman Sokal’s production house Half Stop Down, is one of most successful Production House in Bangladesh.  Several achievement received by Mr. Sokal through this production house.

.  Munshigiri receive appreciation from 42th Durban international film festival in South Africa. 

   Rickshaw Girl has been selected for Oscar qualifying festival, Durban Int’l Film Festival.

  Nonajoler Kabbo  won the Best film in Asian Select Category at Kolkata International Film Festival and    awarded France’s CNC Aide aux cinémas du monde, TFL Audience Design Fund, Bangladesh’s national film grant, and the Spike Lee Fellowship.

     Aynabaji received National Film Award-2016 for six category. Aynabaji has won the award of the best film at United States’s 11th Seattle South Asian Film Festival.
